Description

A Highland distillery that broke the hegemony of grain whisky being a traditionally Lowland industry when it opened in 1961. In its early days it provided fillings for third-party brands, the business model of Invergordon Distillers, before being merged into the Whyte & Mackay group in 1993. Morrison & Mackay is the former name of Perth-based independent bottler, Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers.
