Description

This Inverleven 1990 is an independent bottling by Gordon & MacPhail, distilled at the now closed Inverleven distillery in the Lowlands of Scotland. Inverleven was part of the gigantic distilling complex built in Dumbarton in 1938 by Hiram Walker, primarily used for blends like Ballantine's. The distillery ceased production in 1991 and was later demolished. Gordon & MacPhail, founded in 1895, is a renowned independent bottler known for its extensive range of single malt whiskies. This expression was distilled in 1990 and matured in oak casks before being bottled at 40% abv. [1, 10, 11]
