- Nose
- Vanilla custard, plump raisins, cedar wood, cardamom and a little tropical fruit zestiness. Very creamy, with lots of vanilla crème, banana, juicy pear, ripe mango and golden raisins. Faint hints of marshmallow and marzipan, buttery notes, a sharper note (white balsamic), and floral notes.
- Palate
- Big, juicy notes of blackcurrant and raspberry. Subtly nutty, with peppery oak. Sweeter and more oaky with grapefruit, mango, tangerine, green tea and tropical fruits like banana and maracuja. Some bramble, grassy sharpness, bergamot, liquorice, and soft caramel.
- Finish
- Packed with sweet, spicy oak notes. Medium long, quite punchy with a slightly candied sweet side. Long, with clear oak, soft pepperiness, and lingering fruits.
