Description

This bourbon from Ironclad Distillery Co. is made from a four-grain mash of corn, wheat, rye, and malted barley. After traditional distillation, it first matures in medium-charred oak barrels. This is followed by a six-month finishing in barrels that previously contained pure maple syrup from Sweeter Creations Sugar House in Waddington, New York. This double barrel aging gives the whiskey a subtle sweetness and complex flavors.
