Nose
An unmistakable, yet gentle Islay-smokiness, with mature oaky scents and gentle peat smoke. Sweet, soft fudge, creamy, slightly herbal, with butterscotch, coastal character, seaweed, and a pinch of salt.
Palate
A complex fusion of sweet malt and mellow oak maturity, mingling with peppery smokiness that gains in force. Soft, creamy, barley, with a surge of fruitiness, medicinal iodine, and burning hay.
Finish
A warming, well-lasting spicy sensation. Spirity, oak, with a metallic note, butterscotch, and rescuing oakiness.
