A famous blended Scotch brand that is currently produced by MacDuff International. Bright notes of green apple and ripe pear, enriched by dried figs and subtle black pepper. Fresh mint complements the mellow scent of charred oak. Sea air, peat, and light smoke, earthy and outdoorsy, with caramel, honey, and coastal notes.
Palate
Caramel sweetness intertwines with toasted almonds and golden honey. A hint of cinnamon adds warmth to the silky, smooth texture. Wispy peat smoke infused with citrus fruits, cinnamon and heather honey. Charry smoke, dried orchard fruit, malty sweetness, roasted nuts, and a bit of menthol. Tangy with balanced smoke and peat.
Finish
Medium-length with lingering vanilla and a whisper of smoke, ending in a satisfying warmth. Lingering hints of salt with layers of peat smoke. Sweet at the back of the throat with warmth. Smoke, earth, caramel, malty sweet and menthol. Briny with notes of brown banana, tobacco, and nougat.
