Description

The Hearach is the first single malt whisky from the Isle of Harris Distillery, founded in 2015. This Batch #8 is part of the inaugural release, which began bottling in 2023. It is a lightly peated Scotch whisky, matured in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon casks (from Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace) and European oak ex-oloroso and ex-fino sherry butts. The whisky is non-chill filtered and has no artificial coloring, bottled at 46% ABV. Each batch has subtle variations, and this release consists of 12,138 bottles.
