Description

R&B Distillers received planning permission for the first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay in early 2016 and they also plan a second site in the village of Peebles in the Scottish Borders. This was where co-founder Alasdair Day's ancestors blended whisky in a grocer's shop. This single cask Isle of Raasay Na Sia Island single malt whisky was released in autumn 2022 after bottling at full cask strength without colouring or chill filtration. It is one of the peated malts, matured in a Bordeaux red wine cask, yielding 273 bottles.
