Description

The Isle of Raasay Single Cask Chinkapin Oak is a limited-edition single malt whisky from the distillery's Na Sia Single Cask Series. This expression is matured in freshly charred and toasted Chinkapin oak casks, a rare American white oak (Quercus muehlenbergii) known for its rich influence on flavor and color. The high char and toast levels impart rich flavors of toffee, butterscotch, and dark fruits, enhancing the whisky's natural sweetness and complexity. It is non-chill filtered and free from added color.
