Description

This amazing blended whisky comes courtesy of Ian Macleod. Making up the blend are a range of spectacular drams from a selection of island and Speyside distilleries. The whiskies have been aged for an average of three decades. Crafted using only the most exceptional peated island malts, this whisky is rich and well rounded. The full blend includes malt and grain whiskies aged at least 30 years, married in oak and bottled at 40% ABV.

Nose
Vanilla and light oak, layered with Bakewell tart, coconut, and a delicate floral top note. Earthy notes like forest floor, with fragrant red berries, cinnamon, citrus, buttery caramel, and a hint of ash.
Palate
Silky and sweet, delivering buttery pastry alongside fresh malt, raisins, and a faint wisp of smoke. Vivid complexity with warm spices, black tea, lemon citrus, vanilla, orchard fruits, brown sugar, soft leather, and cocoa.
Finish
Gentle, dry farewell, with soft spice and demerara sugar lingering gracefully. Smooth and rewarding, fading rapidly to a tiny whiff of smoke, with a sliver of dry oak and tea tannin.
