Description

Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack 2nd Generation is a Tennessee whiskey known for its exceptional smoothness, achieved through a unique double-mellowing process. Unlike standard Jack Daniel's, it undergoes charcoal mellowing both before and after aging in new, charred oak barrels. This particular '2nd Generation' bottling was produced between 1991 and 1998. It was introduced in 1988 as a 'superpremium' brand, marking the first new permanent product from the distillery in many years. The 2nd Generation packaging featured a cork-stopper closure and a new label highlighting the distillery's gold medals.
