Description
Jack Daniel's No. 27 Gold Double Barreled Tennessee Whiskey is a premium expression that undergoes a unique double-barreling and double-mellowing process. It is first aged in new charred American white oak barrels, similar to Old No. 7, and then transferred to handcrafted maple wood barrels for a secondary maturation of 6-12 months. The whiskey is also charcoal mellowed twice, once before the initial aging and again after the maple barrel finish, resulting in an exceptionally smooth and refined character. This process imparts a rich, warm sweetness and a deeper gold color, distinguishing it from other Jack Daniel's expressions. Originally launched as a travel retail exclusive, its popularity led to a wider release in select markets.
