Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select Tennessee Whiskey is crafted from individual barrels chosen from the upper floors of the distillery's rickhouses, where extreme temperature changes facilitate greater interaction between the whiskey and the wood. This process results in a robust and complex flavor profile, with each bottle offering a unique character. It undergoes the Lincoln County Process of charcoal mellowing before aging in new, charred American oak barrels. While it carries no age statement, it is typically aged between 4-7 years.
