Description

Jack Daniel's Tennessee Tasters' Selection Barrel Reunion #1 is a limited edition experimental Tennessee Whiskey. This unique whiskey was finished in barrels that first aged Jack Daniel's whiskey, then a Tennessee-produced red wine, before being returned to the Jack Daniel Distillery to finish this specific release. It was selected by Master Distiller Jeff Arnett and released in 2019. Approximately 24,000 375ml bottles were produced, available exclusively at the distillery and select Tennessee retailers.

Palate
Soft with moderate fullness, cherries, bananas, vanilla, hints of oak and smoke. Sweet yet chewy, with graham crackers, cookie dough, and a moderate barrel char. Less sweet than the nose, with wine aging notes.
Finish
Tangy with bitter notes of leather and oak. Sweet finish with caramel, banana, and vanilla. Blackened wood, gritty, with red wine, fresh rosemary, juniper, and black pepper, ending on a savory note.
