Description

Jameson Black Barrel is a triple-distilled blend of small-batch grain and single-pot Irish whiskey, matured in double-charred bourbon barrels and sherry casks. This expression is a tribute to the legacy of charring barrels, a process coopers call 'bringing the wood back to life,' which lends the whiskey a unique richness and intensified notes. It features a higher proportion of pot still whiskey compared to the original Jameson, resulting in a darker, more full-bodied, and complex character with enhanced spice, vanilla sweetness, and nutty notes.
