Description

The Grosperrin Heritage N°77 Fins Bois Cognac is a rare and meaningful expression, originating from a small estate in the village of Aujac, Charente Maritime. Distilled decades ago, this Cognac was carefully preserved by its original owner and later transferred to a stainless steel vat to minimize the angel's share. Grosperrin is known for bottling single terroir cognacs with minimal intervention.

Nose
Discreet yet elegant, with delicate notes of very old Cognac, expressive and vibrant, with exotic and aniseed notes, mango juice, passion fruit, star anise, overripe vine peach, dry floral hints of potpourri, and slightly sweet, fruity notes with a pleasant salinity.
Palate
Smooth and well-balanced, with a refined harmony, flavors of candied apricot, ripe plum, and a touch of liquorice. It is oily and concentrated, with immediate funkiness, and an easy, juicy profile that ends on liquorice and hazelnut cream.
Finish
Comforting and long-lasting, inviting a second sip, with beautiful perfume, very elegant, a slight touch of sweetness, thin rancio notes, coriander, and leather cream.
