Nose
Gentle smoke upfront with winter spices like clove, pepper, and cinnamon, along with sweet vanilla and subtle fruitiness.
Palate
A soft arrival with caramel, vanilla, sweet apples, and barley sugars, followed by building peppery spices and woodsmoke. Big robust flavour with light peat smoke and faint saltiness set against slight honeyed sweetness, vanilla fudge/toffee and dried fruit/fruitcake.
Finish
Lingering elegantly salty peat smoke and toasty malt with sultanas and sherry, and a final duo of Werther's original butter candy and woodsmoke.
