Subtle smoky aroma, gentle smoke upfront with winter spices like clove, pepper, and cinnamon, sweet vanilla, citrus zest, nectarine, toasted malt, butterscotch, golden raisins, charred oak, peat smoke, toffee candy, pecan rolls, over-ripened grapes.
Palate
Balanced and rich flavors, creamy toffee, rich sweet fruit, spicy vanilla, noticeably soft arrival with initial caramel-like flavor and texture, vanilla, sweet apples, barley sugars, oak and alcohol with building peppery spices and woodsmoke, butterscotch candy, peat smoke, glazed pecans.
Finish
Elegant long-lasting aftertaste, smooth and smoky, oak spices linger with Werther's original butter candy and woodsmoke, good amount of smoke without being overpowering, medium burn, tapering to nutty and sweet notes with lingering peat.
