Notes of blood oranges and red berries, with sweet wood spice, a savory-umami characteristic with wet, earthy moss and fresh-picked mushrooms, caramel, candied oranges, and a hint of smoked meat.
Palate
A creamy mouthfeel with subdued sweetness, crème caramel, meringues, gentle ginger, oranges, aromatic herbs, rich caramelised miso notes, tropical grilled pineapple, rich cacao, blackberry tannin, dark chocolate, salted pretzels, dried red fruits, vanilla pudding, tannic oak, and a hint of truffles.
Finish
Medium length, quite nutty, a touch of mushrooms, crack black peppercorns, a tiniest tinge of smoke, cleansing mineral salinity, long, sweet, fruit finish, spicy, with raw honey, expressed citrus peel, marzipan, and a bitter-nuttiness.
