Description
The second release in Johnnie Walker's Blue Label Ghost and Rare series, this limited edition blended Scotch whisky features rare whiskies from three "ghost" distilleries, including the highly sought-after Port Ellen from Islay, which closed in 1983. It also includes whiskies from other closed grain distilleries like Caledonian and Carsebridge, alongside rare malts from Mortlach, Dailuaine, Cragganmore, Blair Athol, and Oban. Master Blender Jim Beveridge crafted this blend, with all whiskies used being at least 20 years old, though it carries no age statement. Bottled in 2018 at 43.0% ABV, it offers a complex profile with maritime smokiness.
