This limited edition blend features rare whiskies hand-selected from only eight legendary distilleries that were in operation when John Walker opened his grocery shop, including exceptionally rare whiskies from "ghost" distilleries such as Brora, Cambus, Carsebridge, and Port Dundas, alongside active distilleries like Oban, Blair Athol, Lagavulin, and Teaninich.

Nose
Rich with layers of brown sugars, soft fruit, and sweet wood, evolving to reveal hints of green apple and a subtle zest, complemented by gentle peat unfolding in the background. Hazelnuts, honey, sherry, oranges, ginger, kumquats, sandalwood, and dark chocolate also emerge.
Palate
A wonderful sweetness envelops the taste buds, with notes of stone fruits, stewing apples, cocoa, dried tropical fruits (sultanas, raisins, pineapple, mango), crumbly brown sugar, caramel, and toffee. Hints of pepper, dried fruits, vanilla, and cinnamon are present, with a creamy and luxurious feel. A wisp of smoke comes through to deepen the flavor.
Finish
Soft and lightly peppered, with a long, lingering, smooth finish of perfectly balanced, soft smoke. Wood spice, malt, and a bittersweet quality are also present.
