Waves of subtle pepper and spices, vanilla fudge, caramel, honey, and warming dry peat smoke. Gentle spices sit in the background with sweet fruity smells of raisins and delicious baking flavours of glazed Danish pastries. Dried fruits, citrus, and vanilla are also present.
Palate
A velvety smooth blend with a rich toffee silkiness and soft vanilla ice cream. It opens with a burst of honeyed sweetness, complemented by hints of caramel, chocolate, hazelnuts, sherry, and a gentle smokiness. Elegant lightly honeyed malty and dried fruity notes with vanillered wood, liquorice, and a hint of cinnamon spice.
Finish
Exceptionally smooth and luxuriously long, with a lingering sweetness and a whisper of smoke. Soft lingering oak spice and peat smoke trail behind, along with salty, smoked flavours and notes of boiled sweet fruit and buttered fruit buns.
