Description

The Johnnie Walker & Sons Private Collection 2015 Edition is the second release in the Private Collection range, focusing on the 'Rare Fruit Character' of the Johnnie Walker range. This limited edition blended Scotch whisky was crafted by Master Blender Jim Beveridge using 29 specially selected casks. Only 8,888 individually numbered decanters were produced worldwide.

Nose
Grilled pineapple, apricot, green apple slices, toffee-drizzled peach, vanilla fudge, and a touch of smoke. Grassy notes, crisp green apples and pineapples from Speyside malts, stewed apples from Highland aromas, and spicy dried West Highland fruits with orange peel and dried apricots.
Palate
Baked apple and pear, fresh vanilla, a hint of sticky caramelized sugar and honey. Smooth and velvety with orange citrus and passion fruit from Speyside, ripe melons from Highland, and peach skin sweetness from West Highland.
Finish
Rather long with stewed fruits and wafts of smoke. Smooth and long with elegant smoke and mellow complexity.
