Description
An Island malt whisky distillery on the remote Hebridean Isle of Jura, which was re-opened by Charles Mackinlay & Co in the 1960s and is today part of the Alliance Global Group via its Whyte & Mackay division. The Isle of Jura is located off the west coast of Scotland, where the red deer population outnumbers the human population. The distillery is known for its unique whisky that combines the classic elegance of the Highlands with the distinctive character of island malts. This 16-year-old expression is matured in American white oak bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
