Nose
Dirt after a rain shower, sour candy, toasted marshmallows, heavy peat, salty smoke, campfire, roasted cashews. After water, peat is more subdued, dustiness, salty sea air, smoked kippers.
Palate
Ash, fruitcake dropped in dirt, smoked blackberry jam, molasses, heavily charred wood. Sherry and peat are well integrated. After water, peat recedes, sweeter notes shine, dark fruits like prunes, touch of tar.
Finish
Long with nuttiness, quality blackberry jam, prunes, brown sugar and vanilla slowly fades away. Heavy smoke and a light funkiness.
