Nose
Satisfying aroma with big notes of hay, leather, tobacco, and waxed papers. Farmy notes of stable aromas and horse dung, hints of exhaust fumes, overripe oranges, and some seaweed.
Palate
Extremely rich and very balanced in flavour, thick and oily, fairly peaty and peppery, close to Islay whisky. Resinous notes, salty liquorice, ginger, dryness of walnuts, tobacco, leather, and lemon zest.
Finish
Quite rich and lovely smooth texture, long and quite herbal with lingering lemon zest.
