Sweet and malty with aromas of toffee, butterscotch, golden syrup, robust cereal, soft peat smoke, green apple, cookie dough, white chocolate, cinnamon, cocoa, and ginger powders. Zesty citrus peel, candied orange, sultanas, coffee, and oaken caramel.
Palate
Sweet and sugary with butterscotch, toffee, brown sugar, green fruit (apple, pear), dried fruit (raisins, candied orange peel, sultanas), earthy peat smoke, maltiness, warming wood spices (cinnamon, all-spice, nutmeg), gingerbread, cocoa, and dried red apple. Woody vanilla, flaky mince pies, maple, coffee, and mulled wine.
Finish
Decent length with malt and spices. Sweet and fruit elements fade, followed by soft gentle peat smoke. Malted cereals and baking spices grip the tastebuds. Sultanas and milk chocolate. Vanilla, grape, cinnamon, cherry, and oak. Unctuous sweetness and festive spice, rich barley, cakey spice, and a touch of leathery oak. Whipped vanilla and cinnamon spice.
