Description
A modern Japanese whisky distillery, founded in 2017 by Komasa Jyozo Co. Located along the Fukiagehama Beach in the Kagoshima Prefecture, it operates three differently-shaped pot stills to produce a variety of single malts which it then blends together. Its first whisky was released in 2021. This Travel Retail Exclusive, Kanosuke Hioki Pot Still The Mellow Bar Reserve, is distilled in unique stainless steel pot stills at our family's Hioki Distillery and matured in new American white oak casks and Bourbon barrels at our Kanosuke Distillery warehouse. It is bottled at a higher ABV to offer an enriched, cask strength version of their pot still whisky. It is non-chill filtered.
