Description

A modern Japanese whisky distillery, Kanosuke was founded in 2017 by Komasa Jyozo Co. and is located along the Fukiagehama Beach in the Kagoshima Prefecture. This particular single cask release was bottled to commemorate the inaugural Whisky & Spirits Fes Saga 2024, held on June 2nd, 2024. It features heavily peated malt, matured in a bourbon barrel from 2020 to 2024, and is one of only 201 bottles produced. The label depicts Shigenobu Okuma, a prominent politician and educator from Saga.
