Description

This is a limited edition blended whisky from Karuizawa, bottled by Mercian, containing malt from the Karuizawa distillery and likely grain from the Kawasaki distillery. It was specially bottled in 2003 to celebrate the Hanshin Tigers baseball team winning the Central League. This particular bottle features player #14, Arias, and is part of a series of 12 different player bottles. Karuizawa distillery was owned by Mercian Corporation, mothballed in 2000, and closed in 2011.
