Nose
Impressive depth, pungent ethanol, notes of incense, coconut, vanilla, frankincense, pine resin, olive oil, clementine, fresh oak, black pepper, and stewed strawberries.
Palate
Extremely rich and balanced, barley driven with a sweet cereal backbone. Robust with notes of roasted chestnut, vanilla, warming oak, caramelised sugar, honey drizzled pancakes, stewed fruits (strawberries, apples, pears), and delicate umami notes (green olives, miso soup).
Finish
Perfect, long lasting, quite drying with lingering flavours of vanilla, black pepper and spicy rye bread.
