Description

This is a 28-year-old single malt whisky from the legendary Karuizawa distillery in Japan, independently bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) as cask 132.1. Distilled on August 30, 1984, and matured in a refill ex-sherry butt, this release is known as 'Secret moonlit garden dram'. Only 229 bottles were produced from this single cask. Karuizawa distillery, founded in 1955, ceased production in 2000/2001 and was later dismantled, making its releases highly sought after by collectors.
