Nose
The nose is fragrant and fruity, with hints of cocoa and spices. Initially, you are greeted by deep aromas of dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, and dried figs. Furthermore, delicate notes of sandalwood and Japanese incense emerge as the whisky breathes. [4, 14]
Palate
The palate has a pronounced sweet and nutty character, with woody notes and some chocolate too. On the tongue, the texture is viscous and mouth-coating. In addition, it delivers a sophisticated blend of black treacle, ginger spice, and antique leather. [4, 14]
Finish
Long, warming finish. Ultimately, it leaves a lingering trail of umami, dark fruits, and a hint of wood smoke. [4, 14]
