Description

The first commercial single malt whisky distillery in Taiwan, built by the King Car Group in 2005. This limited edition whisky was created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the King Car Group, aged in an exclusive red wine barrel, elegantly combining the creamy richness of toffee with the intense sweetness of dark fruits. It expresses the group's persistence, striving and glorious growth over the past four decades, while honouring the soaring Snow Mountain lying at King Car's heart.

Nose
Powerful and dense with rich notes of red wine exuding dark-skinned Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, with strawberry, bilberry, spice and flourishes of fresh charred oak. Dark fruits and toffee, burnt spun sugar, cantaloupe melon, herbal notes of oregano and thyme, polished mahogany, strawberries and poached plums with charred oak.
Palate
Thick, mouth-drawing layers of toffee-rich berry fruits, enlivened with flares of spice, notably pepper, clove and tobacco, all brought together with a magnificent wine character. Incredibly smooth and delicious, icing sugar, vanilla toffee creams, melon and grapefruits, with barrel char balancing summer berries and creamy toffee.
Finish
Long and sensuous, yielding a gentle mix of signature fruits and soft spices. Cabernet Sauvignon, silky and smooth, long and luxurious with balanced oak.
