Dark raisins, fig, stewed plum, cocoa powder, and roasted nuts. Clean and complex with multi-layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices with some marzipan and vanilla touches. Pungent and balanced aromas of spice cake, freshly split oak, and vanilla creme.
Palate
Bold and velvety with dried fruit, toffee, baking spices, dark chocolate, and oak. Smooth, well-balanced natural sweetness, full of pleasant dried fruit and spices. Clean and complex with multiple layers of dried fruit, nuttiness and spices, it has some marzipan and vanilla touches to it.
Finish
Long and warming, with lingering notes of nutmeg, leather, and sherry-soaked fruit. The dark chocolate fades to reveal sweet fruit. Well-balanced sweetness with dried fruit and spices.
