Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique is a Taiwanese single malt whisky from the Kavalan Distillery in Yilan County. It is part of the Solist series, known for its single cask, cask strength releases. This expression is fully matured in used American oak wine barrels that have been toasted and re-charred, imparting a complex and fruity flavor profile. It was notably crowned 'World's Best Single Malt Whisky' at the 2015 World Whiskies Awards.
