Nose
A rich fusion of vanilla and caramelized sugars with dark chocolate on top. Ripe melon, mango, kiwi, and a delicate blend of citrus fruits burst, with hints of pepper, cinnamon, aniseed, apple, winter spiced tea, and cherries. Intense red, purple, and black fruits with a hint of oaked chardonnay and dark rum notes.
Palate
Freshly sweet and warming, with infused wood, apple, cinnamon, and citrus, developing tropical notes. Explosive with an initial dark rum punch, followed by a cognac-like flavor, brown sugar, vanilla, salted dried plums, and dark grapes and berries.
Finish
Dry, with red wine tannins and a tinge of soapiness. Sweet spiced tea, drying wood, and a fresh, sweet wine influence with hints of white grapes and chocolate. Short to medium, with butterscotch, pralines, and a healthy dose of chocolate.
