Description

Ki One Batch 4 Peated is the first fully peated release from Ki One, crafted to cater to diverse preferences. This limited edition Korean single malt whisky delivers a smoky, hearty dram, marrying Korea's distillation precision with bold peat, oak spice, and fruit-driven warmth. It is made from malted barley peated to 50 PPM and aged for at least 3 years in a combination of new American oak and ex-bourbon barrels. Master Distiller Andrew Shand's Scottish heritage influenced this release, making it a perfect cigar-lover's whisky.

Whiffs of cigars and spice with oriental spices herbal organic freshness, roasted five spice, dried herbs, barbecued meat, walnut, worn leather, nut shells, and a hint of cacao.
Palate
Tastes of orange peel, cinnamon, and oriental spices give way to rich oak, plums, and apples, with sweet mandarin, peppery spice, cinnamon bark, puffs of cigar smoke, marmalade, stewed plum, earthiness, and a hint of ginger.
Finish
A lovely sweetness at the finish, drying and warm with tobacco, clove, black pepper, more smoke, and lingering herbal / medicinal tones.
