Nose
Refined and gourmet. Mineral (chalky), iodized and saline, with delicate peat and smoke. Spices (black pepper, ginger), salt, and smoky malted barley emerge, followed by fruity oxidation (pineapple) and aromatic plants (chamomile, verbena, sage).
Palate
Lively and precise. Abundantly fruity (apple, mirabelle plum) and verdant (green barley). Mid-palate reveals peat blocks infused with seaweed and sea spray. White flowers (lily, iris), rushes, and bamboo shoots punctuate the finish.
Finish
Long and airy. Very lactic (coconut, porridge), refreshed by acidic citrus juices (lemon and yellow grapefruit). Smoke vapors, ashes, and licorice-like peat cover the aftertaste.
