Description

A limited-edition 2025 release from Kilchoman's 100% Islay series, this 11-year-old single malt was distilled from Publican barley harvested in 2011, 2012, and 2013. It was matured for a minimum of 11 years in 16 individually selected first-fill Oloroso sherry butts from José y Miguel Martin, Jerez, Spain. Bottled at 50% ABV without chill-filtration or added colour, it offers a rich and complex profile with notes of dark fruits, spice, and smoked meat. [2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 14, 16]

The rich smoke alongside dark chocolate with honey and cooked apples gives this a clear sweet-and-smoky contrast. The lasting wood smoke and dried fruits make it sound like a bold, well-defined Islay style.
