Description

Kilchoman Batch Strength is a peated Islay Single Malt Whisky, bottled at a robust 57% ABV. It is a core range release from Kilchoman, the first new distillery on Islay in over 120 years when it opened in 2005. This expression is matured in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, Oloroso sherry butts, and bourbon barrels. It is non-chill filtered and has no added coloring. The barley used in the mashing process is smoked to a level of 50 ppm.
