Description

Kilchoman, which came online in 2005, was the first distillery to be built on Islay for 124 years. This single cask, bottled exclusively for La Maison Du Whisky, was matured for over 5 years in a Cognac hogshead previously used by Ferrand. During its 5 years maturation the citrus sweetness and peat smoke character of 50ppm malt created an elegant and rich Islay whisky.
