Description
Kilchoman Distillery, founded in 2005, was the first new distillery on Islay in 124 years. It operates as a farm distillery, growing and malting a unique proportion of its own barley. Machir Bay, named after a beautiful bay near the distillery, is the name for Kilchoman's regular range. This 2014 release is a special European Tour bottling, a vatting of five and six-year-old single malt matured in bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry butts, bottled at cask strength. Only 1518 bottles were released for this exclusive tour.
