Description

Kilchoman Distillery was founded in 2005 and is the only distillery on Islay to grow a proportion of its own barley. Kilchoman is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland and the only one to practice 'farm distilling'. This Kilchoman 2006 Single Cask release was distilled on 21/10/2006 and bottled on 25/11/2010, making it a 4-year-old whisky. It was matured in a fresh bourbon barrel, is non-chill filtered, and bottled at 61.7% ABV. This is an Official Bottling by Kilchoman Distillery.
