This Kilchoman 6 Years Old 2016 Rum Barrel Single Cask is a pale gold single malt whisky, matured for over 6 years in a Caroni Rum cask. It was bottled exclusively for La Maison Du Whisky. The whisky showcases a rich and powerful nose with tropical notes, ripe banana, barbequed pineapple, BBQ smokiness, and vanilla pods. The palate offers a creamy rum influence, citrus, vanilla sweetness, wood spices, and well-integrated peat smoke. The finish is spicy with tobacco smokiness, herbaceous, smoky, and crisp barley grain flavors, complemented by refreshing lemon and mint notes.
