Description

Kilchoman, established in 2005, is Islay's first farm distillery in 124 years, known for its quality and forward-thinking wood policy. This single cask bottling, distilled in 2010 and bottled in September 2015, was exclusively selected by The Whisky Exchange. It was initially matured for four years in an ex-bourbon barrel before being finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, resulting in a big, fruity backbone complementing Kilchoman's powerful smoke. Only 262 bottles were produced.
