Description

The fourth edition of Kilchoman's Small Batch series, this UK-exclusive release is limited to just 1260 bottles and is bottled at 49.8% ABV without colouring or chill filtration. It is matured in a combination of 70% ex-bourbon casks, 25% STR (Shaved, Toasted, Recharred) casks, and 5% Oloroso sherry matured Kilchoman. The vatting process involved reducing the bourbon casks to 46% ABV before combining with the STR cask at natural cask strength to emphasize its flavors. [18, 21, 22, 23]
