Description

This is the first release of the Kilkerran Work in Progress series, distilled at the Glengyle distillery and bottled in 2009 from casks laid down in 2004. The Work in Progress series was created to showcase the evolving spirit from the distillery as it matured towards the eventual core 12-year-old expression. Glengyle distillery reopened in 2004 after being closed since 1925, and this release is part of the initial limited bottlings. Only 12,000 bottles of this 5-year-old, lightly peated whisky were released.
