Nose
Peat (sweet and soft), Light Smoke/Char, Tropical Fruits/Fruit Salad (w/ mango and papaya), Lemon, Brine (lots!), Vanilla, Red Delicious Apples, Juicy Pears, Black Pepper (very slight), Dark Honey/Honeycomb, Flora (slightly, with time), Mineralic (after the fruit calms down a little).
Palate
Sweet Peat, Salt/Brine, Soil, Minerality (plenty!!), Oak, Barrel Char (curiously sweet), Soot/Ash, Crystallized Lemon.
Finish
Hay, wool and chalk? Interesting combination that I have found in earlier Kilkerran too. Not bad. It does lack some balance, as it turns quite acidic and young with little real peated notes.
