Description

Signatory was founded by Andrew Symington in 1999. After discovering single cask single malt whisky while managing Prestonfield House Hotel, Andrew bought his first cask, a Glenlivet 1968, and is now one of the largest independent bottlers in Scotland. As of 2002, Signatory Vintage Whisky company is also the owner of the Edradour distillery. Killyloch was a short-lived Lowland distillery, operating from 1965 and ceasing malt production in the early 1970s, with the complex fully closing in 1985.

Nose
Alcoholic smells at first quite sharp. Then liquorice, white and yellow fruits, with mostly apricot. Slight farm notes after a while. The nose is quite long to open.
Palate
Quite different from the nose, as we have here tropical fruits, slightly bitter orange, chocolate, ginger, pepper, old wood and some leather.
Finish
Leather again, but also chocolate, ginger, floral notes like jasmine, tea leaves. Good length.
